Parity expands Guardian Life Insurance Company of Americas communications capabilities with application development and systems architecture

Guardian Life Insurance Company made a strategic decision to expand their communications capabilities by integrating IT and Internet technologies to perform e-commerce commercial insurance operations. Guardian's goal was to bring the Internet's power and convenience into the hands, and laptops, of more than 2,300 of its independent, financial representatives in general agencies across the country.

Called Life Systems, the new Web-based program enables agents to write life insurance policies right at the point of sale, whether in their offices or at a client's home or work site.

Guardian came to Parity's Resourcing Solutions division seeking our IT consulting, application development and systems architecture expertise . In less than 10 months, Guardian rolled out its new Web-based Life Systems insurance program to more than 125 offices nationwide, on time and on budget. Now, outside agents can enrol clients directly through the Web site, eliminating the need to manually fill out paper forms.
