NASA

NASA, the National Aerospace Administration of the United States, engaged Parity to launch a custom e-learning programme for the Ames Research Center. The solution was developed by Parity and its e-learning partner, PulseLearning, and used context-oriented and role-based application simulation for travel management training.

The Internet browser-based learning solution was rolled out to 1,700 employees who use the commercially adapted travel management application. The solution provides users with workflow processes and a procedures model for requesting, approving, and reporting travel. It also incorporates a template structure for a stand-alone Internet browser, a course guide, assessments, FAQs, and reporting tools.

'They showed up just at the right time with the right product and services. With desktop and laptop computing universally available and NASA pushing e-learning we just needed somebody who could create a program that works today and then fits into our long-term plans for e-learning later, and these folks had just the way to do it.'
