Assurance & Review
Parity’s experience, spanning several decades, has led us to establish a specialist practice that offers assessments of projects and programmes, and that can be called upon at any point in the business cycle.
These assessments are designed to examine progress and review direction, hopefully confirming that things are progressing as they should. Alternatively, if something is amiss, they produce recommendations that are intended to get things back on track.
Parity also conducts post project reviews within which the impact of an IT delivery is documented and then evaluated, and the lessons arising from this are then applied in subsequent initiatives.
These reviews are objective, and are produced by experienced sector practitioners – they are not simply academic exercises. They are based on existing GatewayTM and MSP guidelines and complement in-house assurance processes should they exist. They are not, however, replacements for existing practices and procedures.
Examples of the services offered include:
· health checking of a project/programme, covering strategy, the investment decision, supplier selection, programme delivery, and post-project review
· development of a quality assurance approach for a programme/project
· a technology review designed to evaluate the performance of a particular technology suite against the organisation’s business objectives
· the review of suppliers in order to determine if performance is as expected… and to suggest alternative options if it is not
· value for money assessments of projects and programmes
