IT Aptitude Test
The ability to think and plan in a systematic and disciplined way, with precise attention to detail, is one of the requirements for all information systems staff, especially analysts, designers and programmers. The IT Aptitude Test is an invaluable guide for recruitment and personnel staff in selecting and recommending new staff, or moving existing staff into IT posts.
The test is an easily administered written test which maps a candidate's suitability for IT by probing their power of logical thought and their use of a disciplined approach to complex problems. By using a series of 5 increasingly difficult problems the test assesses the candidates' ability/aptitude in various criteria necessary for successful work within an Information Systems environment. The assessments depend not on knowledge of IT or on mathematical ability but on the candidates ability to work through a series of complex problems.
The Aptitude Test is available in English, Spanish, French, Swedish, Dutch, Norwegian, German, Danish and Portuguese. The test can also be purchased in Braille.
